About the Role:
Qognify is seeking to hire a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager – Northwest Territory. The successful candidate will build, define and execute the go-to-market strategy to achieve growth for the Video Management Systems. This includes license sales, professional services sales and maintenance renewals.

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Lead generation, follow up, and deal closure in collaboration with the Director of Channel Sales.
    Develop account and regional sales plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement .
  • Accelerate revenue through customer acquisition, retention, achieve revenue goals while also being value and mission driven.
  • Create and develop effective sales strategies to lead and direct the Manufacturer’s Representatives (MRs) toward achievement of the regional sales objectives through growth of existing integrators and by recruiting new integrators.
  • Manage MRs by assuring effective hiring, orientation, and training.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all channel and technology partners to address key business issues ad opportunities.
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements as required.
  • Maintain the pulse of the competitive landscape, as well as that of the customer-base business needs in order to help recommend any new ancillary products and services.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
  • Achieve quarterly and annually billing and revenue targets for defined territory.
  • Prospect, identify and develop potential customers including building long term relationships.
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
  • Deliver tailored product presentations, application studies, financial justifications and
    demonstrations to illustrate the benefits of Qognify products and services.

What we are looking for

  • 5 + years of demonstrated track record selling VMS.
  • Understanding of the IP Video Security Market preferred.
  • Working understanding of Network Video preferred.
  • Experience selling in at least 3 of following verticals: Transportation (Airports/Mass Transit), Education, Utilities, Large Govt & Federal, Safe City, & Corporate 1000 organizations.
  • Demonstrated skills/knowledge/understanding of operational business processes beyond the technology focus, as the VMS space deeply touches customers business operations.
    Strong commercial and solution selling capabilities.
  • Ability to develop relationships and any level including C-suite or VP level customers.
    Self-motivated, independent, results-driven and team player, that continuously meets or over-achieves goals.
  • Initiates superior collaboration and cross company dynamics.
  • Ability to assess situations efficiently and effectively.
  • Apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks and goals.
  • Demonstrates personable, articulate, knowledgeable, diplomatic style.
  • Have attention to detail and ability to gather complete and accurate information, in contexts of varying complexity.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce (or similar CRM program).
  • Ability to travel though territory and US about 50% including minimal global travel.
  • College degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related degree required; MS preferred in similar course work.
