Senior Technical Writer

Qognify is looking for a senior technical writer to join the R&D team. The Technical Writer will work closely with product managers and R&D to document our products, manage sub-contractors and manage content distribution on our partner portal.

Skills, Knowledge, Talents, Experience

  • Proven working experience of at least 3-4 years in technical writing of user-facing software documentation, including release notes, user guides, administrator guides, etc.
  • Experience in documenting APIs and SDKs.
  • Ability to make complex technical concepts easy-to-understand.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take end-to-end responsibility for writing tasks.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, juggle competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines with grace and calm.
  • Native English speaker – must.
  • Hebrew comprehension and basic conversational Hebrew.
  • Ability to author in a variety of tools, primarily Author-IT and FrameMaker.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with “can do” attitude.
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.


  • Project management and plan documentation for new releases.
  • Create, write, and manage and publish content.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders on content for ongoing and new product releases.
  • Work closely with R&D to document their knowledge and create user-facing document.
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
  • Produce documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.


  • BS/BA degree required in English, Communication, Technical Writing, other related degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Certificate from Technical Writing course.
