Regional Sales Manager – Video Management Solutions

Qognify is seeking to hire a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager – Video Management Solutions to drive the need and closure of business with the Qognify solutions through a defined “needs analysis and value selling process”. We are seeking proven, quota-carrying sales performer to help us expand upon our Security Surveillance business in New York, New England, and Eastern Canada areas. Responsibilities include generating new business in new accounts and in new markets, as well as playing the key role as you drive strategic Customer Experience initiatives for our existing customers.

Skills, Knowledge, Talents, Experience

  • Extensive and relevant experience (at least 10 years) of selling enterprise level security solutions gained within a major software applications vendor or Extensive, relevant experience of selling of Video Management system or other Physical Security Solutions including Situational Awareness applications (PSIM)
  • Background in Security sales (CCTV, Situation Management) – an Advantage
  • Vertical sales experience/knowledge within finance, transportation, airports, utilities, higher education, or local government sectors would be advantageous
  • Experience in solution/value selling
  • Demonstrable track record of sales quota and revenue over achievement with a strong reference base across prior customers
  • Have an extensive existing end user, channel, and industry partner network available
  • Ability to develop relationships with the ‘C’ or VP level business users to sell based on business value
  • Self-sufficient, and likes to be given end objectives with flexibility to take ownership and manage activities & processes to achieve results
  • Ability to deliver against tight timelines with drive for Customer Focus and satisfaction
  • Technically knowledgeable with the ability to relate technology to business issues and requirements
  • Individual must be highly motivated with excellent communication and presentations skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrate key relationship based selling skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and close new business transactions while expanding existing accounts for the sale of Qognify.
  • Create and maintain a 3 x pipeline through a combination of existing network, prospect meetings, cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence
  • Create and develop channels and partner networks
  • Achieve annually and quarterly sales targets.
  • Initiate and execute local marketing initiatives
  • Develop account and regional sales plans.
  • Provide tailored product presentations, application studies, financial justifications and demonstrations to illustrate the benefits of Qognify products and services.
  • Position and demonstrate using a “value selling model” and the ability to create and deliver ROI by understanding the customer’s needs and using the Qognify solutions suite to solve.
  • Delivering presentations to C-Level Stakeholders
  • Communicating with internal business units across Qognify

Education

  • Minimum BS or BA degree, preferably in business, finance accounting or computer science
