Aeroexpress – setting the pace for quality service
Founded in 2005, Aeroexpress offers high speed railway service within Moscow to the Capital’s three major airports – Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo – and rail service to the Moscow satellite town of Lobnya. The rail operator transported over 14 million passengers in 2011.
As one can expect, building these high speed rail lines required a massive capital investment. For Aeroexpress, it was clear from the onset that achieving a faster return on this investment would be contingent on exceptional service levels – the kind of service that drives high ridership. After all, Aeroexpress may be the sole operator of express rail service in Moscow, but the company still competes with other modes of transportation, like taxis and buses. Of course many factors impact the passenger experience – from how safe and secure passengers feel to how long they have to wait in line. I invite you to check out this video to see how Aeroexpress is becoming a pacesetter for quality service with a little help from NICE.
